Cannot mark snowflake table as date table

I am trying to set a snowflake table as date table. I have confirmed that the date column that I am using as a key has a date datatype and has unique values. However when I try to mark it as Date tab...

sthatte , Have you already marked as key column, if yes revert that.  make sure column Tools shows it as date and not Key icon in front on the date name.

After that, you try this again
