Cannot get title to show as a column

Hi,

I have one list that contains columns Name, Employee nbr, Course1, Course2 etc and it is populated with Year for when the employee took these courses. I have used Unpivoted Other Columns in the Power Query so that the list contains column with Name, Employee nbr, one column with Courses and one with Year.

I have another list with information about the employees, such as employee nbr and title.

These list are connected with a Many to one-relationship.  With Many from the first list and one in the employee list.

I want a matrix with the columns Name, Title, Course1, Course2 etc with the Year populating the table.

This picture is how it looks when I only have the name and the courses from the first list. This is almost what I want, but I also would like to have column next to Namn where the persons title shows.

If I add the Title as a Column (from the list where I have the employee information or the courses list), I get this. Ie all the different titles gets on a separate column, and I get a drill throuh.

If I add the Title as Rows, I get this, Ie the title gets below the Name. Is is also almost what I want, but I would want the title as a separate column.

I guess that I need some kind of measure, but I have no idea how it should look like or what to search for.

Anyone have any idea how to get the Title as separate column?

Kind regards,

Anna

Thanks for HotChilli 's reply, please allow me to provide another insight.
    Hi AnnaH11 ,

Please go to the Matrix visual's /Format visual/ -> Layout and style presets -> Select /Outline/ in Layout.

The Title column will then display as a separate column next to the Name column.

Please see the attached pbix for reference.

Is switching to tabular layout on the matrix settings enough to get you this?

If not, maybe just create a column which appends Title and Name in your data and use that.
