Cannot create visualisations/report after importing data from a Fabric SQL database

I have been following the Microsoft tutorial for creating a translytical data flow: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/translytical-task-flow-tutorial

I am up to the stage where you create a Power BI report. After importing the data using the "SQL database (preview)" option, and selecting the requested tables, the ability for me to create an actual report is taken away. I can only see the model view, the DAX query view and the TMDL view.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks, this worked.

Just for anybody else who has this issue, when you connect to your SQL database, you need to hit the arrow next to the "Connect" button, and select "Connect to SQL endpoint" instead of "Connect to OneLake".

You need to connect to your Fabric data source in Direct Query mode.  Otherwise your data write-back will not reflect back into the UI.
