Using the Azure HDInsight Spark (BETA) connection, I was able to look at data in my HDInsight Spark 1.5.2 cluster. However, we upgraded the cluster to 1.6 and now we cannot see any data. It goes through all the same steps, asking for user and password, but when it finishes, no tables are shown. No errors are returned either/
Does anyone know if there is a workaround or some setting needed to get this to work?
Thanks!
John

Hi JohnA_JE
“There are some issues with the ODBC driver support for that Spark version and we are looking into it.”
Based on above comments of Nitin in this blog, there are some issues with the ODBC driver supporting for that Spark 1.6 version in Power BI, and they are looking into this issue.
In other words, we still need to wait some time to support the HDInsight Spark 1.6 version in Power BI.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
