Cannot connect Mysql database to Power BI.

MySQL 8.0.32

Power BI 2.116.966.0 64-bit (April, 2023)

mysql-connector-net-8.0.32

mysql-connector-odbc-8.0.32-winx64

Windows 11 (64-bit operating system, x64-based processor)

 When I am connecting Power BI, this error is shown. I cannot figure out the issue as I'm using the same version of all the programs. Where am I going wrong?

I'm scratching my head over this one. If possible can anyone tell me the specifications of their programs so that I can install the same?

After some trial and error, installing mysql-connector-net-8.0.28.msi helped. Now everything is working fine.

@Anonymous , Make sure you have installed latest .net driver

IP is whitelisted in Mysql of the desktop system

Tried it. Still shows the same error. Can you tell me the specifications of your MySQL and connectors so that I can install them?
