Hello,
I created a very simple paginated report based on Azure Analysis Services data. The report has been published on my premium workspace. As you can see, the connection to AAS was tested successfully. There is a 2-factor authentication: by password and approval by the MS authenticator app installed on my phone.
Then, I am trying to embedd it in power bi report using the same AAS source through a paginated report visuals. However, I got the error message on power bi service preventing me to do that. The error message displayed when trying to open the published pagineted report is stating that it cannot connect to AAS.
Do you maybe know what settings are needed to fix this? I had no issues with paginated reports using other type of source (like sharepoint folder).
Thanks for looking into this
I have found myself in a situation where I have exactly the same kind of issue.
Has the original poster found a solution?
Anyone has an idea how to solve this?
Hi @BlueDaisy
Do you mean the AAS data source needs 2-factor authentication to connect?
