Cannot change storage to import since latest update of Desktop

Hello,

My Power BI Desktop was updated through Microsoft Store to version: 2.130.754.0 64-bit (june 2024). Since then, I cannot change storage mode to Import. When clicking on the button to change it, a yellow banner asking to apply changes appears (the same when changes are made through "Transform data" without applying them when closing Power Query).

The import process doesn't start at all. After clicking "Apply changes", nothing happens and it is then impossible to change from report view to the others views, it's even impossible to close Power BI Desktop; I have to kill the task in task manager.

Anyone is experiencing such issues ? Is it a known issue? Is there a fix?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Well, apparently I have to learn to be more patient. It seems that the switch to import is working but is taking significantly more time than before. Just clicking the Switch button and waiting seemed to solve the problem. Sorry for the unnessary post.

Uninstalling and reinstalling Power BI Desktop had no effects. Turning PC on and off neither.

But when creating a new report and selecting "Import", I can get data. Switching from DirectQuery to Import on a new report is possible. Nevertheless it is impossible on existing reports.

Thanks in advance for your help.
