Cannot add a new column

I clicked "New Column" button but Power BI desktop shows an error dialog saying the next sentence immediately.

 

Error Message:
Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'The Column with the name of 'Column' already exists in the 'TestTable' Table.

 

How do I add a new column?

    To avoid this error, I deleted the entire table and recreated a new table.

      But Power BI does not give a enough time to change column name.

      It immediately shows the error dialog right after I clicked the "New column" button.

        To avoid this error, I deleted the entire table and recreated a new table.

    The issue is with the name you provided for the new column as there is already an existing column with that exact name in the table. Please choose a different name for the new column.
