Hi @Si_7777 , Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community Forum.

This happens if the app can’t properly save or apply changes due to corrupted local state. Start by resetting Power BI’s local files. Close the app, then go to %localappdata%\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\ and delete or rename User.zip. Also clear the AnalysisServicesWorkspaces and Cache folders. When you reopen Power BI, it will recreate a clean profile, which fixes this in most cases.

If it still doesn’t work, try running Power BI once as Administrator to rule out permission issues. If that still doesn't work, try re installing or updating.

Hi @Si_7777 - you can reset Power BI settings >> Close Power BI Desktop

Navigate to:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\

or

%localappdata%\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\

Delete or rename:

User.zip

Reopen Power BI

This forces Power BI to recreate a clean settings profile

Hope this helps.
