Cannot Launch Power BI Desktop

Hi,

I am having trouble opening the power bi desktop app.

Below is the error I am seeing when trying to opening the app.

I already tried uninstalling, restarting my PC and reinstalling but it still the same error.

Can someone assist here if you had a similar error before that you managed to resolve.

Hi @PNG_Power_Bi ,

It seems like a machine-specific issue.

This technically can go wrong when you execute code on old version .NET.

Please try installing latest .NET and restart PBI desktop.

@PNG_Power_Bi , Please make sure there are no missing Windows updates. Install all pending Windows updates. Post that reinstall power BI, if needed.

even after that if Power BI do not work, please open an  issue- https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
