Hi Team,
Is there a way to load the data from a dataset and Transform in Power BI Desktop?

Deepak

Hi @Deepak3Arora ,
If the dataset uses import mode and you can download a PBIX file, then you can use this file and transform the data in it. You can connect to the dataset from the desktop, but the connection mode that can be used at present is Live connection or Direct query. In Live connection or Direct query modes, data will not load to the desktop, and limited transformations of data are supported in DQ mode.
Not sure if the product group will roll out more schemas to connect to datasets in the future. For such kind needs. We would suggest you submit an idea in Power BI Ideas: Ideas

@Deepak3Arora , That can be done in import mode, and I doubt that for the power bi dataset. You can do a direct query. But that enables only small transformations
