Can user group fields in published reports and create cluster?

Dear Forum,

Please help with my first steps in powerbi.
I have a published report and using it as a user. In that report I have a slicer which can select based on data. Like this;

Now can I make for example W15 and W17 as some cluster and give them name, for example Holiday_Cluster.

And then make W16,18 as another cluster and give them another name like Active_Cluser.

Than slect the cluster and powerBI will show only that cluster data.

I want to make this in already published report becasue I cannot edit it. I need to do it only for my user.

Is that possible?

thanks

Hayk

Hi @haykp

Usually grouping column items needs the author to edit the model and the report. As you cannot edit the report, a workaround is to add personal bookmarks to save different filter status of the reports. You can first select W15 and W17, add a personal bookmark and rename it to Holiday_Cluster. Then clear the filter, select W16 and W18, add the second personal bookmark and rename it to Active_Cluser. You need to open the Bookmarks pane in Power BI Service to add/select a personal bookmark as this cannot be added to the report canvas without edit permissions to the report.

Groups can only be created and modified by the report developer, not by report users.
