Can't use column values in visuals

    Thanks for you reply Josh, I found the solution of the issue here
    apparently, this was caused because I used tabular editor earlier to add calculation group and then removed it, the proplem is that adding calculation groups from tabular editor alters a property called "Discourage implicit measures"
     which caused the issue. Reverting this property back to false solved it.

Hi, you mentioned that you are not able to recreate this problem in a new .pbix file, but are you able to share the .pbix file where this problem is occurring? I'd like to see if something is overriding the data type and summarization setting that you are selecting.
