Can't update data gateway connection credentials

I have a data gateway connection to an on-prem SQL server that I need to update the credentials for. However, after I go in and make the changes and click Save, nothing happens; no errors, nothing. If I go ahead and click Close it asks me if I want to discard my changes (which I obviously don't).
