Can't select multiple values on Groups popup

There seems to be some kind of bug preventing me from selecting multiple values in the Ungrouped Values box of the Groups popup. I've never had this problem before, but it is happening on new and existing groups. I've tried CTRL+clicking and SHIFT+clicking, and nothing allows me to select more than a single value. Has anyone run into this? Any ideas? I've tried closing the program and restarting my computer... to no avail.

This is UI issue with the DARK theme. even if it appears as multiselect is not working, it is working, carry on with the operations and you will see multiple values being selected

or switch to default theme.

I was experiencing the same thing and realized it was an issue with my dark mode theme.

The highlighting feature to show which values I selected were almost an imperceptible shade darker than the default, making it appear that I didn't have a multiple selection. Not sure if there is a way to fix this aside from going back to normal/light mode.

It wasn't just an issue of selections being imperceptible for me, grouping more than one ungrouped value straight up didn't work until I switched out of dark mode. In light mode everything worked perfectly. This looks like a bug for Microsoft to fix. Many thanks to a000p347 for figuring this out.

Today is Feb 28/24 and I have the exact same issue.  I have closed the group dialog box down, saved the report and closed the Power BI Desktop.  Reopened and the exact same thing is happening.  I have also reboot the machine and am experiencing the same issue.  Nothing seems to fix it.

Hi @MLCISSA ,
I tried to reproduce same thing in my pbix but everything was working fine for me. Also, is this issue only for you or other developers are also having same issue?

Try clearing out the cache from Power BI Desktop and then re-open the .pbix and ungroup multiple values.

If still not working, you can raise a ticket with MS Support and they can check if it is a bug.
