Hi @Stef_Rajo - You can download the latest .NET Framework Download .NET Framework | Free official downloads (microsoft.com)

Ensure that you are using the latest version of Power BI Desktop. Updating Power BI can sometimes resolve compatibility issues with system components.

check the below path:

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Config. This folder should contain both machine.config.default and machine.config.

If the machine.config file is missing or corrupted, try renaming machine.config.default to machine.config. You can do this by copying the machine.config.default file and renaming it.

Sometimes, this issue is caused by registry misconfigurations in your system. You can attempt to fix this by clearing or resetting the proxy settings in the registry, but be careful when editing the Windows registry. If you're unsure, seek help from IT support.

Hope this helps and able to open power bi desktop

Thanks for your help. I just copy the machine.config.default files and changed the names of the copies on machine.config in the 2 folders and seems that it's working.
