Can't get coordinates correctly on map

Hi all,

I have a large dataset with BLE beacons (TagText) and per beacon the historic location (LAT, LON) and the time seen at that location.
I want to have a visual where I can see how the beacon travelled and another map which would be the heatmap of all beacons at their last seen location.

I imported the data and have a dataset as follows:

I assign the LAT & LON field to their correct data category

Than I just drop the LAT & LON in the corresponding visual fields.
Than I get a map with three points and when I hover over it, the tooltip gives me 358 different coordinates.

I would expect all these points to be separate. I choose to not sum the data

When I add the datetime field to the TIME Field on the visual, I get a timebar but it doesn't show correct points either.

Another thing I tried, was the normal map visual. But when I add LAT & LON, nothing seems to happen on the visual.

Help is needed 🙂

Thx in advance for all tips & tricks.

@TomBelgium Perhaps add an index column or use the time field in the Legend?

DAX For Humans

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

I just played around a bit and finally managed to do both somehow.

Apparently the field was set as text. After changing it to decimal, it seems to work.

So, I can start playing around!

Thx
