Can't establish a relationship between two date/time fields

Hi guys, I am trying to establish a relationship between two tables using a date time field (perf_dt). The master table is a direct import and has performance dates. I have another uploaded table which has the same performance dates with additional columns for day of the week and if it is a weekday or weekend. However, I cant seem to establish a relationship. What am I doing wrong? Please help!
