Can't change the file source

I DON'T WANT to use a file on ONE DRIVE . (In fact , I don't want ONE DRIVE, but it seems I have no choice. . . ) 
I want to use a file in my Documents folder . 

HOW do I change it, and WHY is this SO DIFFICULT ? 

Supremely FRUSTRATING tool to work with (. . .as ususal with Microsoft)

When I edit the file sources , and select the new desired target file , in my local document folder, [Open], 
the file path is NOT changed and still shows the original location on One Drive.

. . .so if you want to change your file source ( . . .to something OTHER THAN ONE DRIVE , which Power Bi insists upon) , chuck all your work in the bin , and start again. Typical SPITEFUL-Soft - cryptic, inflexible, and as user friendly as a scorpion
