Can't change slicer shape

Hi I am using the newest version of PBI desktop. While I can't find the Shape and Layout button from Slicer panel so I can't change shape of slicer at all. How can I find it?

Hi, instead of the classic slicer visual, use the "new slicer visual".

Hi @PBIUser111 ,

 

According to your statement, your Power BI Desktop Version: 2.140.356.0 64-bit (February 2025).

I think you currently download the Power BI Desktop from Microsoft Store. 

As far as I know, this is a beta version from February, not an official version for Jan 2025.
Here I suggest you to download the offical version from website :Download Microsoft Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center.

Current version should be 2.139.1733.0 publish on 2025/01/25. 

 

I think you want to use tile slicer, I suggest you to download the latest version and try it.

If you couldn't find tile slicer, you can turn on button slicer visual in preview feature.

Hi @PBIUser111 ,

Make sure that you're using latest version of power bi going to Help Tab > About:

Now make sure that you're using a tile slicer:

Your shape and layout should be there:

Hi I just checked my version is Version: 2.140.356.0 64-bit (February 2025) while there is no 'new slicer' on my panel. But thanks anyway for trying to help!
