Hello
I have a large dataset from an access database, which I'm trying to set up some standard reports for. I'm used to working with Access, but not so much with PowerBI. What I'm having issues with is creating table relations, my approach is pretty much the same as in Access which might not work here?
My data is set up so that Knude (Nodes) contains most of the data, but a lot of it needs to be intepreted. Basically all fields ending in xxxKode needs a K_xx table to translate the numbers to a text. So StatusKode contains a 1 but K_StatusKode contains the information for what a 1 means, in this case 1 means Active (a 2 would mean dead).
Also there is a lot of different type of Knude/Nodes, example is that Daeksel contains the Knude with a lid on top (but not all Nodes have a lid). Same with Sandfang, Udloeb, Punkt etc. and these Subset data might also need some K_xx tables to intepret their meaning.
When I try to create the relations like I would in Access I can't activate them. What am I doing wrong, is my approach completly in error?

I figured it out, apparently even though I thought I had disabled automatic relations, it had already made a lot of different relations that conflicted. I deleted all relations and started from scratch, now it works.
