I tried to get web data(saved as table) in PowerBI. Normally I use ‘Get Data’, then select ‘Web’. The weird thing is when I do this in my company network, PB returned with no data(systems said’We didn’t find any tables on this web page’). note if I type the address in browser, I can access the data. However if I do this at home, I can get the data from web. Any idea what caused issue?

Hey, I learned the hard way, that web data sources can be hard. I did not say that the IT did not block the url when used in combination with Power BI, what I tried to so say is that you need your IT to unlock the site.
Next to Postman another handy even if not simple is Fiddler, Fiddler allows to track network traffic, what is going on on your machine.
You can start Fiddler, enter the url in a browser, and watch the traffic. Do the same with Power BI and then compare the traffic.
Regards,
Tom
Hey @zqlcancer ,
you have to talk to the people of the firewall team to unblock the usr in your corporate environment. You can use Postman (https://www.postman.com/product/api-client/) to discover what's going on.
Hopefully, this provides a new idea on how to tackle your challenge.
Regards,
Tom
Thanks for sharing. But even in company network, I can access the link directly through EDGE or Chrome with complete data. Only PowerBI can not retrieve anything. Did you suggest that our IT only block somthing for PowerBI enviroment?
