Can Power BI use a SFTP location as a data source?
If you have Fabric, is to use Data Factory and create a copy activity. Other than PowerAutomate and the Data Factory, there are third party vendors that provide data transfer between different cloud storages.

Power BI doesnt have a native FTP oro SFTP connector. A workaround is to use PowerAutomate to move or create a copy of the file to a SharePoint folder and use the SharePoint connector instead.
RnavalProblem with that is copying the file to SharePoint will invoke the MFA process which cannot be automated.

Rnaval, You can use azure blob storage services also. And use blob connection into power bi.

Hi Rnaval,
As of now there is not any native connector/feature available to connect directly to SFTP.You can try third party connector if your organization allows.
