Hi
I'm new to mapping in Power BI and have been surprised at how limited the mapping functionality seems to be. I would like to create a map with a filled (choropleth) bottom layer and pinned data overlayed as a top layer. This is straight forward to implement in most mapping software but seems to be absent from the Power BI mapping visuals I have seen.
Can someone please point me toward a Power BI mapping visual that can handle multiple layers?
Best wishes
Tristan

Hi @Anonymous ,
You may take a look at Globe Map or import custom visuals from the market place.

@Anonymous , I think with ArcGIS, you should - https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Multiple-layers-for-the-ArcGIS-Maps-Visual-with-the-standard/td-p/1084695
Thanks for the quick reply @amitchandak . Unfortunately, having read the link you shared clearly it isn't possible to include multiple data layers in an ArcGIS map (see the highlighted text).
Any other thoughts?
