Can Power BI Visualize Significance Testing in a Table form?
Currently there are two main things we can do with R Script in Power BI:
- Run R scripts directly in Power BI Desktop, and import the resulting datasets into a Power BI Desktop data model.
- Use R scripts to create Power BI visuals, and use them to visualize your data in Power BI.
So we can both visualize R data using Power BI visuals and use R created visuals to visualize data in Power BI. In this scenario, I think it is possible for you to visualize significance testing in a table format as you mentioned above.

Hi, you cannot reuse your dataframes in powerbi to use the powerbi visuals, R in powerbi is just to see R visuals, in my case, I'm using R on Spark and and the end I create a HiveTable to be consumed in my PowerBI.

Hi John,
Thanks for the response and sorry if this seems like a dumb question but as I am not well versed in R, can your response be summed up as:
If it can be visualized using R it can be shown in Power BI using the R visuals, but not routed through the Power BI visuals.
I have colleagues that work with R regularly, I just want to get them the correct information before I ask them to do any work.
Thanks,
Chris

Thanks Jerry,
I am going to start working with our stats team today to try to implement what we are looking to do using the resources you provided.
I will post an update if we have some success creating a stat testing table in case others are looking to do the same.

Did you manage to implement this? I am looking for significance testing in Power BI as well..

Hi, when you add the R object in your powerbi, that object is just to be used to show the R plots, however, if you want to return your R results directly to you PowerBI that is not possible.
