Can I use a MS365 group as a RLS group?

In July 2025 you still cannot use M365 groups for RLS. It makes no sense that I can set workspace access with M365 Groups but not RLS. Somewhere deep in the bowels of Redmond, a whole product team dug their heels in and refused to fix this glaring deficiency.
