Can I connect Power BI Desktop's dataset from Excel without DAX Studio ?

I want to connect Power BI Desktop's dataset from Excel.

Now I can this issue with DAX Studio,

by check the Tcp port of Power BI Desktop's internal Tabular server,

and by query as "Analysis Services" to Power BI Desktop's internal Tabular server.

But the Tcp port changed at each Power BI Desktop program startup.

I need to use DAX Studio for check the Tcp port.

and Excel file update.

So I'm looking for this issue.

After connect from Excel to Power BI Destkop,

Awesome, I can import data from Power BI Desktop to Excel,

Awesome, I can anlyze data of Power BI Desktop by Excel.

Do you want to connect to the data model stored in PBIX file from Excel? If that is the case, currently this feature is not available, please vote this issue and add your comment in the following existing ideas.

Yes, I want to connect the PBIX file from Excel. and any API.

And 'Analyze in Excel' of Power BI Service is so nice.

I'm waiting to connect the PBIX file from Excel, and API,

and I wish to connect the Power BI Desktop's SQL Server Analysis Services from Excel more easy way for on-premise only work.

i am in this exact situation, that's why i can not move from powerpivot to powerbi desktop, right now i build my model in powerpivot after some heavy transformation, and show the results as a linked table using dax.
