Super Userarpost , Yes storage mode change option is given when you try to add additional staff in case of dataset.

Post Prodigyamitchandak, thanks for the reply! Not sure I understand what you mean by "when you try to add staff." Are you saying I SHOULD be able to change storage modes for PBI Dataset tables once I change to DirectQuery?
