Hi, and thanks for any input here. Screenshots attached. In PBI Desktop I have a Page 1 with visuals and a slicer that is set up to choose periods of time, and display data about help-desk tickets opened during that time period.
On page 2, I would like to create a basic list view of the tickets represented on page 1.
I would like it to update when different visuals are clicked on page 1 as well.
For example: Clicking on the gold area of the donut chart for "open" tickets on page 1 updates all of the visuals (which it does already), and also updates the list view of tickets on page 2 (the part I am trying to make happen).
Is this possible to do, and if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks!

Hi @KSosz07 ,
Yes, it is possible to display a table-style list of records on Page 2 in Power BI that reflects the selections made on Page 1. To achieve this, you can use either synchronized slicers or the drillthrough feature. The simplest approach is to synchronize slicers across both pages—for example, if you’re filtering by date, status, or technician, you can use the "Sync Slicers" option under the "View" tab to ensure that any slicer on Page 1 also applies to visuals on Page 2. Then, on Page 2, you can add a table visual that displays the detailed list of tickets using the same data source. This way, any selections made via slicers or filters on Page 1 will automatically reflect in the list on Page 2.
However, if you want Page 2 to show records based specifically on visual interactions (like clicking a slice of the donut chart), you can use the drillthrough feature instead. This involves setting up Page 2 as a drillthrough page by adding a relevant field (like ticket status) to the drillthrough filter area. Then, users can right-click on a visual element (e.g., “Open” tickets on the donut chart) and select “Drillthrough > Page 2” to view the filtered list. While drillthrough is a bit more manual, it allows for precise context transfer between pages. Combining both techniques (syncing slicers and using drillthrough) can offer the best user experience.

Thanks! This works well, I am using Drill Through via a 'Click for List View" button which is activated when something in a visual is selected on page 1, and some Slicers on page 2 for further filtering. On page 2 I also added a "Back (to page 1)" button and a "Reset Slicers" button.

Hi @KSosz07
Drill through and sync slicers are the only two options you have for this requirement i feel
