Hello, If someone can help me, would like to know how to show, in a Bar Chart that goes through several months/years and has a horizontal scroll bar, the last months to the right, and if its necessary to see the history then scroll to the left. This in order to view the most recent data first instead of the oldest first.

This is still not sorted and some proposed solutions found online are frankly strange. You should be able to keep your dates sorted older/left --> newest right and choose if you want your scroll bar at the left or at the right.
As of today, upper management must scroll daily to the right to see the newest data if they wish to retain date hierarchies with drill-up / drill-down functionalities.
im interested in this solution too 🙂
Hi @hugomarquez ,
Could you please share your sample data and excepted result to me if you don't have any Confidential Information. Please upload your files to One Drive and share the link here.
Hello Frank, any news about a solution to my request would be appreciated!
Hi @hugomarquez ,
Sorry for my late respond. Please sort your date column like this.
Hello, I found a photo of a graphs that emphadieses the solution I am looking for, if anyone can help I would appreciated it.
Hello Frank, any other suggestion about a solution to my request would be appreciated!

Hello Frank,
Thanks for your response, your suggestion was my first choice, which does not solve the problem because the you get confused in the growing sales by period. If I sort from date descending order, it all seems as Sales (and costs) are going down, which definitely is not the case! Also imagine if the Forecast is presented as descending date order, it would seem you better forget business instead like it is really growing! I know it’s a matter of perception, but it is so important to see the growth, and to be able to see the most recent dates first! I hope PowerBI gets a “show right/left side of a graph” feature soon! If so, please let me know!
Yours truly,
Hugo Márquez
Hello Frank,
Thanks for your quick response, yes, I can upload the sample data and link it below. Once you open the PBIX file, in both Bar Charts I would like to see the right months (most recent ones) when opening the file or it's Web Publication. 1. The First Bar Chart has all the History since 2016, but it's much more relevant to see 2019 and its months first, then perhaps scroll back to the left as an option. 2.. The Second Bar Chart has 24 months Sales Forecast by Product, which is the main point of that Graph to see the future first, then perhaps scroll back to the left as an option.
