Calender table

In power Query Editor the Calender dates are sequential 

1/1/2008

1/2/2008

1/3/2008

1/4/2008

1/5/2008

1/6/2008

1/7/2008

 when I close the query window I loose 7 days, trying to use calender to calculate ytd,/mtd/qtd

1/8/2008
