Calendarauto Relationship

Hello friends,

Can you please teach me. What is right way do relationship with calendar auto table with other two tables but with relationship between them?

After search in internet i tra to make right way for relationship in model. And then i get same problem i can't make relationship/ Please see the photo

Actualy i need filters fact table by dim tables and also by date (calendar)

Hi @answeriver ,

Relationship in power bi is different than other databases, it has direction for relationships(e.g, single filter direction, filter effect from one side to other side; cross filter direction, each side can effect correspond column).

Power bi will try to analytics data model and summary records through relationships.

If your relationship map contains multiple active relationships to analytic summarize, it will confused which one should be the right one. So it only allow one activated major relationship link between linked tables for analytics and interactions.

Assuming we set the relationship to active, we can see that the Calendar table can filter the SALES table from two paths, which is not allowed in Power BI.

You can set the direction between table Status File and table ACTIVE WS/SALES to "Single". 

Or use the USERELATIONSHIP function to make the relationship between the Calendar table and the SALES table active.

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
