Calendar heat map
I have a share point list where we store project names, fees, and start and end dates. We are looking at creating a calender heat map to forecast capacity.
I am looking to spread a $ amount over every day between a start date and end date for multiple projects. Then get a sum of the total $ for each day on it. Then will make it a heat map type calendar so we can visualize project expenses over the year. Is something like this easily achievable?

Looks like what I want, I only have a start date and end date in separate columns and looks like I would need to add a lot of multiple columns in power query for each day in order to get it to work. Was hoping there was something that could just plot it much like planer does with a start and end date to save expanding for each day to plot.

LewyNZ Hard to say exactly. I don't know your data. I would think you could create a Date table using CALENDAR and then a measure to do what you want but, again, I don't have your data so it is difficult to say.

Managed to it to work by expanding all the days. Extra few query functions but works great.
