I am trying to calculate the running average for the previous 6 weeks.
So that when I select a date on my calendar/date filter, I can see how many sessions occurred on the selected day at a certain time.
For instance if i select the day 02/19/2024 , looking at my matrix visual I want to see the average number of sessions that have occured for the previous 6 weeks at a certain time.
The matrix above is a 24 hours clock. If i pick any date on my filter, I would want to see the average number of sessions that have occured for the previous 6 weeks at the time of the day.

@Anonymous , Make sure you have a separate week/date table
Have these new columns in Date Table, Week Rank is Important in Date/Week Table
Week Rank = RANKX('Date','Date'[Week Start date],,ASC,Dense)
OR
Week Rank = RANKX('Date','Date'[Year Week],,ASC,Dense) //YYYYWW format
Avg Last 6 weeks = CALCULATE(Averagex(Values('Date'[Week Rank]), [Your Measure]) , FILTER(ALL('Date'),'Date'[Week Rank]>=max('Date'[Week Rank])-5 && 'Date'[Week Rank]<=max('Date'[Week Rank])))
or
Avg Last 6 weeks = CALCULATE(Averagex(Values('Date'[Week Rank]), [Your Measure]) , FILTER(ALL('Date'),'Date'[Week Rank]>=max('Date'[Week Rank])-6 && 'Date'[Week Rank]<=max('Date'[Week Rank])))

Do you have an idea of how I can predict the average sessions for the next 6 weeks.
