Dear Experts,
I'm trying to solve an issue. i would really appreciate yours help 🙂
I have a table and it has 3 Columns, i.e. Btach number, Flowstep, Timestamp for flowstep change
I want to calculate step difference whenever it changes and then compare it with Last week and Current week.
Our week start from Tuesday and ends on Monday. so it should sum total number of step changes in the last week and compare with current week.
I hope you can help me out 🙂
Regards,
Khurram
is this what yo uwant?
Looks geat, i want to see if that works. could you also send me this file 🙂
no no, Your previous calculation was exactly what i needed. in this view the diffrence can not be in minus. i could see you have a filter on batch number, and then the index is applied, .. But if you simply track the change when the step is chnaged to the next one and calculate it there, then you'll have th difference, like i have calculated.
Could you please send me the previous calculation 🙂 and meanwhile if you can try to the above calculation idea =?
this what you want?
That is so brilliant, i want that, just one thing, i have made something like i didn't do the sum function, i kept the steps like they are and used Var function and index to calculate the difference in steps. could you please keep this calculation and try also without the sum ?
This looks exactly what i need 🙂
i dont follow can you explain better pelase or show me what you did
hello @Khgo , if i understood you correctly , you mean to caclulate steps and compare them to the previous week starting from tuesday?
it could also be a sum at batch level and individual change for each step
please share a sample dataset as in a table
Hi,
Thank you for replying and looking into it.

i have only shown one batch here, but i have 200 + batches
ok should be fairy easy please share a sample dataset
