Hi All,
I have created a few calculated fields and I need to show it in a matrix or table visualisation. But when I try to do that it shows description of the calculated measures as column header and below it the values. But I need to show the description on rows and the values next to it as shown below. Is it possible in Power BI?
Hi @iqbalck,
In order to show report as your required, you need to drag the measure from Columns to Rows. Here is a sample for you reference.

Hi Charlie,
Thanks, but I am unable to do as you said. I think it is because it is a calculated measure. Please see the screen shot below:
Hi @iqbalck,
Please provide us some sample data, so that we can make further analysis.

Hi Charlie,
Please find below sample data:
Region | Country | Sales | Gross Profit | Net Profit |
A | X | 100 | 35 | 15 |
B | X | 110 | 33 | 27.5 |
C | X | 120 | 48 | 54 |
A | Y | 130 | 71.5 | 13 |
B | Y | 140 | 35 | 32.2 |
C | Y | 150 | 45 | 37.5 |
A | Z | 160 | 56.64 | 19.2 |
B | Z | 170 | 76.5 | 35 |
C | Z | 180 | 56.7 | 45 |
I don't know how to attach excel file in here.
With the above data Gross Margin is to be calculated by dividing Gross Profit by Sales and Net Profit% by dividing Net Profit by Sales. After that the calculated measures Gross Margin & Net Profit% are to be displayed in Table or Matrix as shown below:
Hi @iqbalck,
You can use a a multi-row card to display those two measures.
Cross% = "Cross%: "&FORMAT(SUM(Table2[Gross Profit])/SUM(Table2[Sales]),"0.00%")
Net% = "Net%: "&FORMAT(SUM(Table2[Net Profit])/SUM(Table2[Sales]),"0.00%")
