Calculated Measure - Average Days

Hi,    I have created the following measure which gives me the number of days between 2 dates.   Days_to_comp = Datediff( Selectedvalue('apps'[appdate]), Selectedvalue('comp'[compdate]), Day)...

    Hi M_SBS_6 ,

     

    According to your description, for the AVERAGE function, its argument is passed a specific column name, while this formula returns a scalar result. So this is the cause of the error.

    1 =
DATEDIFF (
    SELECTEDVALUE ( 'apps'[appdate] ),
    SELECTEDVALUE ( 'comp'[compdate] ),
    DAY
)
