Hello,
I am trying to create a dashboard with a simple matrix between archive and active datasets. I have a query set up to import both sets of data, I then added a column to indicate if the row is Active or Archived (depending on where the data originated). At a glance, I am trying to use conditional formatting to show if the dataset is either active or archived, it can never be in both.
So, I have created a matrix, it is essentially 4 columns:
1 - Project Name
2 - Archive (count of records)
3 - Active (count of records)
4 - Total (sum of Archive + Active)
What I am trying to figure out, is that in the total column I simply want to see either a green or red icon, based on the Archive and Active column. One of them should always be blank, that triggers the green icon, if both columns have a value, then it should be red.
I have tried a couple different counts, but nothing seems to work as expected. Hoping somone here can help me out.
Thanks.
I know conditional formatting is what I need, but using it currently it sees for example a value in both Archive and Active and so shows as green. But, if there is a value in both those columns, it should be red.
Nice day.
To do this you must use a conditional formatting using as a rule a measure of if, but this will result to give an icon in your column additional to the value according to the given condition if it is File or active, it is not in icons exactly, but it can be useful.
Best regards.
