Calculate week count based on slicer selection

Hi,

 

Can anyone help with and problem I am facing.

 

I have dimdate table which feeds a slicer allowing the end user to select fiscal year e.g

 

FY2017

FY2018

 

What I need is -  if the end user selects  FY2017 I need a count of all weeks between Apr 01 2017 and Todays date e.g. 77 week

 

If the end user selects FY2018 I need the count of weeks to be 24 etc.....

 

The Dimdate relevant fields I use are below for reference,

    Hi DanJBay1978,

    From your description, I could not understand where could you set the slicer, I could not find any data in your table with the slicers and I also want to know how to calculate the data in this sentence "If the end user selects FY2018 I need the count of weeks to be 24" , could you please offer me more detailed information?
