Calculate value of a duration per state per category

Hello Community !

I need help with a set of data. I have created a measure to associate state of production to batch.

I need to obtained the sum of the duration per production state (Running, Set-UP, Down, etc) per batch and the total duration per batch. In order to calculate the percentage of running per batch.

HEre is how my table look:

And what i need:

BatchRun DurationTotal Duration% Run
ARLD245825694569=2569/4569*100

Thanks in advance for your help !!

@sdlx Not really enough to go on here but probably something like MTBF. See my article on Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) which uses EARLIER: http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Mean-Time-Between-Failure-MTBF-and-Power-BI/ba-p/3395....
The basic pattern is:
Column =
  VAR __Current = [Value]
  VAR __PreviousDate = MAXX(FILTER('Table','Table'[Date] < EARLIER('Table'[Date])),[Date])

  VAR __Previous = MAXX(FILTER('Table',[Date]=__PreviousDate),[Value])
RETURN
  __Current - __Previous

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

Hi thanks for your repply ! @Greg_Deckler

The idea here is more that each rows correpond to an event for a batch which is categorised in run, down, changeover etc...

In order to calculate the availability I need to sum the run event and divide them by the total duration of all the event for one batch.

Hope that helps.

@sdlx Post some sample data as text and can probably be more specific.

Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
