Calculate running total of sales data with different start dates for each store

I'm paraphrasing this issue to make it more relatable. 

I have a number of organisations (30) - lets call them stores, these stores, over the course of a year were gradually transferred to a new parent company, and at different points of a 12 month period.

I have 3 years of historic sales data for each store - published monthly 

I would like to perform a calculation that would return a running total of the sales, but only counting the sales data from each store at the point at which the ownership transferred to the new company, the sales that happened before ownership transfer is not important -

I've mocked up an example below - I need the cumulative sales to only count the months covered by the yellow cells in the diagram below.

Orgs and Onboarding date - these are the 'stores' plus the date onboarded

Sales Data - 12 months of sales data

Desired outputs - example of the type of visualisation required - where the sales data is totalled based upon the onboarding date.
