I would like to make a line chart in Power BI that would display my survey data by year. As you can see in Excel chart below, I can display the data by year in Excel:
However, when I attempt the line chart in Power BI, I only get the chart displayed below. The difference is that the Excel chart can do percentages by year. I don't think Power BI can do this as it only provides percentages based on the grand total in the entire chart.
The 'show value as percent of column total' is an option in the matrix table in Power BI (below), but for some strange reason is not available with the line chart.
Does anyone know how to create line charts in Power BI that calculate percent of column total, not exclusively percent of grand total? Thank you.
