Calculate difference between measure that is held constant and one that is varied by filter

Hello,

I was wondering about the following "problem" I'm having:

I'm calculating a cost based on a certain highest value of a dataset. This cost should remain constant. This is done through a measure and shown on my report and is not affected by filters. Below that I'm using the same measure, but this one is affected by a filter which lowers this highest value.

So far, this isn't an issue. I now have a constand and a variable cost. But what I also want to show on this report is the difference between these. Is there a possibility to do this?

Or should my previous calculation step for the measure be changed?

Thank you for your assistance!

Kind regards

Hi @Innerv1sion,

To calculate the difference between two measures (a constand and a variable cost), just need to create a new measure similar to:

Diff=Measure1-measure2

This new measure will be dynamically changed by filters.

For more advice, please post sample data and show us your desired output to help me better understand your scenario.
