Calculate cost per project per month

Hi,

I would like to ask you for help with calculation of the cost for processing RMAs per individual project per month. So for example:

• Salaries of employees working on RMA department is 10 000 EUR  (Employees[Deparment] = RMA deparment)
• There are 5 000 pcs of RMAs (RMAs[RMA Qty])
• The cost of processing 1 RMA = 10 000 EUR / 5 000 pcs = 2 EUR
• In Project A there are 100 pcs of RMAs and in Project B there are 500 pcs of RMAs
• Cost of processing RMAs are therefore:
  • Project A: 100 pcs * 2 EUR = 200 EUR
  • Project B: 500 pcs * 2 EUR = 1 000 EUR

The outcome should be a the calculation of the manpower cost of processign warranty claims per project and per month.

I have following tables/connections:

1. Calendar[Date] connected to Salaries[Date] & RMAs[Date created]
2. Employees[Employee ID] connected to Salaries[Employee ID] and Customers[Key Account]
3. Customers[Customer ID] connected to RMAs[Customer ID]
4. Salaries
5. RMAs

It is unlikely get a correct solution for this kind of multi-table model question that requires multiple and complex dax calculations.

I would recommend you to post these questions with a sample pbix, so we can test on it.
