Calculate YOY Difference (absolute and percentage)

Hi everyone

I have a set of data with 3 columns (link here)

1. Date (dd/mm/yyyy) from 01/08/2022 to 01/10/2023 (by month)

2. Country (sample data has 6 countries)

3. Water usage (%)

I have 2 questions please:

1. I want to calculate the YOY difference (absolute value and also percentage change) of the 3 months August, September, October in 2023 vs 2022. I'm not quite sure how to achieve using Dax yet.

2. Assuming the fiscal year starts from July, I would like to calculate YTD Average of Water usage. Is it best practice to create a date table with month order (start at July as 1)? I'm not quite sure on how to approach this with odd fiscal year end yet.
