Calc column from column in other table

Hi all,   I am new to Power Bi, and I hope someone can help solve my little headache explained below   I have Table 1 and table 2, and I wish to calculate a new column in table 2 based on table 1...

    Hi kraj 

    you can do it like this:

     

     

    Max Cost = MAXX(RELATEDTABLE(Table1),Table1[Cost])

Hi,

This calculated column formula will work in Table2 without any relationship between the 2 tables.

=CALCULATE(MAX(Data[Cost]),FILTER(Data,Data[Name]=EARLIER(Data1[Name])))
