CARD will only accept measures

I have a Powerbi for which I have several CARDs where I was able to include the count of different columns on the different tables.  

Now, I am not sure what I did but now I am only able to create CARDs for measures.  If I try to put any other value on the tables, the system will not allow me to put it.

I guess that this is something on the set-up of this powerbi, as it works fine for other that I have.   I have search everywhere but I canno find the reason

Can anybody help me?

Understanding Implicit and Explicit Measures in Power BI - Select Distinct

We got to the bottom of it, it is a feature in Power BI Models to discourage the use the implicit measures and is configurable

Hi @vzbkb1 ,

I test it in my Power BI Desktop, it works well, and so far, to my knowledge, there are not options in Power BI Desktop to  configure it.

Please try to restart your Power BI Desktop or upgrade it.

It is really strange but it is only happening to one of my manu PowerBis that I have.  I guess them that it was probably corrupted for some reason, and I will need to start over from scrach 😞

Did you ever get to the bottom of the cause

We are seeing the same on a single pbix file

Our is quite a large dataset, with some complexities
