Buttons to go back months and forward in months in power bi

Hi All,

I have a date slicer and the values in the slicer are Jan-23, Feb-23,Mar-23 and so on.
This slicer is a dropdown and you scroll up or down to get to the exact date to select.

There is a request that  buttons should be created, these buttons are represented as back and forward buttons.

What I want to achieve is that whenever I click back button then the date slicer and the visual should go back a month and if i click again, it should go back another month. for example, if my date slicer is on Mar-23 and I clicked on the back button then the date slicer and the visual on the page should return Feb-23. When i click again it should be Jan-23. This aslo should apply to the forward button, when clicked it should return one month ahead and clicked again another month ahead.

How can i achieve this or is it possible in power bi

Hi @tek01 ,

Unfortunately, this is by design. Power BI is now unable to achieve what you need . You can vote the idea for it at   Previous Month    and wait for users with the same needs as you to vote  to help make it happen as soon as possible.

Select Next or Previous value in a slicer

If it does not help, please provide more details.
