Add your date slicer to the page and set it to range.
Create a bookmark on the page and name it Range. Then change the bookmark to Data, Current Page, and Selected visuals:
Select the date slicer and then update the bookmark. This will set the bookmark to only point at the date slicer (selected visuals).
Change the date slicer to Relative and sent the default range like Last 12 Months.
Add another bookmark and name it Relative then set it the same way Data, Current Page, and Selected visuals.
Select the date slicer then update the 2nd bookmark.
Add both bookmarks to a group by selecting them both in the boomkarks list with shift+click then right click and group. Name this something like Dates
Add a bookmark navigator button to the page and pick the Dates bookmark group to show on the button.
I attached a gif of the process you can take a look at.
