Building charts with custom/mixed granularities

Good morning fellow PBI practitioners!

I wanted to check if it's possible to have a line chart with mixed granualrity - for instance:

a) average country level vs average regional level vs 2-3 selected city levels

(i know I could create calculated columns - but if I have multiple cities - it's too many) - Ideally, I would like to select items on slider/selector. However, what happens by default is that they values just add up (for instance, if I select 3 cities, I get their combined average instead of 3 separate lines) - also currently default line view does not seem to allow mixing hierarchy levels.

I'd appreciate any pointers.

Thank you

Woud need to see some sample data. You can build your own hierarchies in Power BI but it is going to depend on your data. See:

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

Good morning - here's the sample data!

The hierarchy is built already - under Dim Group - but I don't see a way to display multiple levels under Legend. It only allows input of 1 category. Ideally, I'd like to compare sales of CA to 1 location such as NYC or compare Region sales to a location sale. Please let me know if you need further clarifications. Attachment is here: Sample pbix
